I always loved this classic 80's tune. It's taken me forever to find the right voicing for this song on the acoustic guitar. I'm pleased with how this one is turning out.

Here's a cover of a great tune originally done by Genesis in the mid-80's. I set up the camera in my kitchen once I think I've reached a point where a new song is ready to be performed live.

Here is Steve's latest release and features his daughter Sarah on vocals. Steve plays all of the instruments except drums on this release. This song is available on all of the streaming platforms.

If it's an Alan Jackson song then you know that there's going to be some hot guitar work by Brent Mason. I stayed true to Brent's signature lick but I had to improvise some of the solo components in order to keep the song from feeling disjointed.

Always Something There to Remind me

Here's a Burt Bacharac song that was released by the band Naked Eyes in 1983. The drums are what really stand out for me on this song. I have worked and reworked this arrangement to try to capture the percussive feel that Naked Eyes perfected on their recording. This one is a challenge to play and sing at the same time. I have to be having a real good night in order to attempt this one.

She's crazy for leaving

Here's a song written by Guy Clark and Rodney Crowell. It's a simple country blues but it really rocks out.
