Ceremony music

We need to start out by determining Steve's availability.  It is best to plan well in advance in order to get onto Steve's schedule.  Some ceremonies are booked up to two years in advance.  During this conversation we'll discuss the following topics:

• The date of your ceremony
• The location of your ceremony (Steve will travel)
• Music format (eg. guitar only, guitar and vocals, accompany only)
• Number of songs
• Potential for CUSTOM SONG(s)
• Wardrobe
• Production details

Once availability and location are determined we'll discuss the quantity and types of songs that you will want for your wedding day.  Steve will also ask about your expectation regarding rehearsal sessions.  Once the scope of your wedding day music is established Steve will provide you with a written summary of the services along with a schedule and a price for these services.

Once all aspects of the services to be provided are agreed upon, Steve will request a 50% security deposit to reserve the date and begin the work to prepare for your wedding day.

Several weeks before your wedding day an in-person meeting will take place to allow Steve to present a performance of your selected songs.  This will provide you the opportunity to critique and/or request minor adjustments to the music.  

A few weeks before the ceremony you will work with Steve to establish  wardrobe and wedding day schedule.

Some couples prefer to have the musicians perform at the rehearsal.  If participation in the rehearsal was established during the initial consultation Steve will be present.

On your wedding day you will be busy and nervous. After all of this planning you don't need to think about your music.
